WOW !!! What an amazing day. Slept in late, then spent a few hours in
cooperate prayer about our trip to the north. Crossed the border and
headed in a couple hours before going to the cafe. We could all
feel that this was going to be a real breakthrough day. Met
the missionaries in the north and went to a local apartment to pray
about our time. The Holy Spirit was so thick
in the room, we all felt like we were crawling up in Papa's lap. With
certainty it was time to go to the cafe.
Mike, the other two
missionaries, Tonia and I arrived at the cafe. Before we could get
seated, people were arriving. There was a complete excitement here. One of the missionaries interpreted every time we spoke, it was a
real smooth transition. Tonia began to speak to the ladies about
makeup colors and accessory choices, while I painted paintings for the
ladies. The missionary told them that I was asking God what He would
like to say to them. You could see such a childlikeness in each face. We
learned that most of them believe God only speaks critically of them, so seeing a painting of love brought them great levels of excitement.
The missionaries were thrilled and so where the people.
The Holy Spirit
was moving in such a way, that ladies kept coming. So many came that we lost count
and there were even men showing up to get prophetic paintings. When
they got their paintings, their faces would begin glowing. As soon as
the interpreter told them what the Lord had told Tonia or me, they would say, "yes, that's exactly true." We arrived there at 3
pm and did not leave until 7:15. They begged us to come back soon.
Some even asked us to come home with them so they could prepare us meals.
There
was one young lady there that I asked if she wanted to try to
paint. She was so full of joy that she grabbed the paints and immersed
herself in them...to the point of forgetting to come to the dinner table. It was
obvious that the mantle was being passed to her. At the end of the
evening, we left her with paints, a brush and some watercolor paper. We
know that the Lord had hand-picked her to lead the charge.
To God be the glory. Our mission has been exceedingly, abundantly
more than we could ever imagine.
Tonia is feeling a little better. She's thriving here and we both are honored to be here serving the Lord.

Tuesday, September 20
We are having a good time. Tonia is very sick...cold and sinus junk. Please pray.
Tomorrow is our big day in Turkish Cyprus. We go to a cafe/bar and paint for some new believers and some non-believers. Tonia will be giving beauty tips, speaking life and edifying the ladies and I will be painting prophetic art for them.
Our days have been amazing. Beyond anything we could imagine. Yesterday, we painted at Salamis, the place Paul preached and we also went to the tomb of Barnabas...WOW!!!. Had prayer there and it was great.
Our hearts are being changed. We are seeing so many things happen. The Lord is moving MIGHTILY. These people are so hungry for the impartation. We have had so many, countless opportunities. In the prophetic art conference, over 20 nations were represented. Everywhere we go, we are meeting new people and are given more opportunities to pour into them the blessings that Jesus has poured into us. The conference was wonderful. Many lives were changed.
Never have we walked under such an anointing. Sunday afternoon was family paint time. My heart was fully at peace as 9 families (pastor, elders, and missionary families) gathered to paint. I had nothing. The Lord had not given me a thing to teach, yet my heart was fully at peace. Keep in mind the conference had been Friday night, Saturday morning, and Saturday night. Then Sunday morning, Tonia and I painted for 2 hours on big canvases in front of the congregation. Now, one hour later, family paint time is starting and I'm pooped. I told Tonia, "I have no idea what I'm suppose to say." She went to the back of the room and begin interceding.
Suddenly, I spoke and a complete download from heaven took place. I began to teach and preach as never before...most amazing experience. The family paint class was incredible. I spoke on God's love for family and the need for revelation from heaven, and how God's desire is for us to dream big. The families then began to dream big and make paintings of the dreams God was laying on their hearts. For two hours we were worshipping in the throne room. I can't wait to come home and plant the seeds that we gathered from the Holy Spirit.
We are so thankful for your prayers, they have been so evident here.

Our First Full Day
Well, today was our first full day on the ground in Cyprus...and it was AMAZING. The power of your prayers are truly manifesting all around us as we see God opening doors everywhere we go it seems.
Earlier today we traveled to northern (Turkish) Cyprus, and met with some ladies who were so receptive to our loving on them, that they want us to come back. When we return, Tonia will minister to them by pooring beauty into their lives through the great love God has for them, edifying the beauty of their femininity.
This evening, the first session of the Art of Listening conference began and went extremely well. We had around 25-30 people attending and everyone was so receptive and eager to take-in the teaching. We were so blessed by how 'receiving' everyone was. Can't wait for session 2 in the morning.
We are so grateful for your prayers, there is GREAT power in them.
